Introducing AI to the who’s who of radiology
The scale of the event of speaks for itself. 300 exhibitors with over 25,000 delegates will introduce novel technologies on 26,000 m2 of exhibition space. Exhibitors range from industry leaders like Siemens and Philips to various radiological societies. Furthermore, now introducing AI to radiology, our distribution partner EnvoyAI as well as other partners icometrix and TeraRecon are exhibiting this year. Sessions entitled “Artificial intelligence and radiology: a perfect match?” are putting AI at the forefront of the ECR.
ECR takes over Vienna
The ECR is increasing in size every year. Vienna’s massive Austria Center no longer suffices and new locations are now offering the space for numerous talks and workshops. The Cube will host a workshop for interventional radiology (IR).
The Sky High Stage will host My Thesis in 3 Minutes (MyT3), in which researchers give a short summary of their papers and results. This is where ImageBiopsy Lab will be pitching! See our MyT3 talk in the “Muscoloskeletal” section on 3rd March at 8:34 am!

Introducing ImageBiopsy Lab’s research at ECR2018
ImageBiopsy Lab would never miss a major event like ECR! We will be introducing our paper “Combining fractal- and entropy-based bone texture analysis for the prediction of Osteoarthritis: data from the Multicenter Osteoarthritis study (MOST)” by ImageBiopsy Lab researchers and partners Zsolt Bertalan, Richard Ljuhar, Stefan Nehrer, Davul Ljuhar, Astrid Fahrleitner-Pammer and Hans-Peter Dimai. In essence, we showed that our newly-developed fractal- and entropy-based bone texture analysis in combination with joint space parameters delivered great results in predicting osteoarthritis. We are excited to be presenting to the ECR audience!
